TROY is a powerful and timely dance performance co-choreographed by German & French artists Chiara Goerig and Lê Hà VU, in collaboration with Ukrainian concert pianist Nataliya Tkachenko and featuring music by the celebrated Fazil Say. TROY reinterprets the myth of the Trojan War inspired by Homer’s Iliad. It was born in resonance with the context of the ongoing war in Ukraine and other less talked-about conflicts. Performed by five dancers coming from different countries (Nigeria, Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, Vietnam, France), this piece seeks to touch hearts and imagine the possibilities of living together, beyond borders and differences.
